Websites and lead follow-up for concrete contractors
Arcos writes and hosts your concrete website, sets up your Google profile as a Concrete contractor, and replies to every estimate request by text. The site shows the base under the slab, not just the finish on top.
What we set up for a concrete contractor
- Google categoryConcrete contractor as the primary. Paving contractor only for asphalt or pavers, Masonry contractor only if you lay block. Skip Concrete product supplier, a category for companies that sell block and mix.
- Site pagesOne page per job type: driveways, patios and walkways, sidewalks and steps, slabs and foundations, stamped and decorative, repair and replacement, footings and retaining walls, site prep, commercial flatwork.
- Estimate requestsThe automated reply asks for square footage, whether old concrete comes out, and timing. You set the price after you see the job.
- Missed callsFew concrete calls are urgent, but each one can be a whole driveway. On a pour, a text goes back automatically with your business name.
When concrete leads come in
With the weather. The American Concrete Institute's cold-weather guide applies whenever the air may drop below 40°F while a fresh pour still needs protecting (ACI 306R-16, 2016). Where winters freeze, work slows until spring, and the thaw brings calls about cracked and flaking slabs.
Local Services Ads for concrete
Not available. Concrete is not a category on Google's US list (checked September 2026); Foundations services is, for foundation work. For driveways, patios and flatwork, Google Ads Search is the paid channel.
What homeowners ask before they sign
- Do you need a license here, and do you have one?
- Will my new concrete crack?
- How thick will my driveway be?
- Why is the base so much of the price?
- Where will the water run off?
Photos that sell a concrete job
- Forms with rebar or mesh, before the pour
- Your crew on the pour
- A broom finish, up close
- Stamped texture, up close
- A finished driveway with the control joints showing
Shoot the base before the truck arrives. Once the pour is done, nobody sees it again.
Questions
Which Google category should a concrete contractor use?
Concrete contractor, as the primary. Add Paving contractor only for asphalt or pavers, Masonry contractor if you lay block, and Excavating contractor if you also take excavation and grading jobs. Google has no stamped concrete category, so decorative work gets its own site page.
What should the estimate request ask?
Square footage, whether old concrete comes out, and when they want it poured. That gives you the size of the job and whether they are ready. It never asks for a budget.
Should my license number be on the site?
Yes, if your state or city licenses concrete work. We check the number before it goes on the site, and we never guess one.
