Arcos

Google Ads for contractors, in an account you own

Arcos builds and runs Google Search ads in an ad account in your name, so you show up when people type your service into Google. Part of the Arcos Ecosystem, quoted on a call.

The ad on Google, the ad in the feed, and the form that opens with her name and number already in it.

When Search ads make sense

Search ads are the paid way onto Google for trades that are not on its Local Services list. In the US today that includes concrete, pressure washing, deck building, gutters, masonry and janitorial work.

They also help when one job is worth more than the rest: a stamped patio rather than a crack repair. The ads can bid on that job alone and send it to its own page. The jobs you turn down become keywords we block.

What you own

The Google Ads account is created in your name and billed to your card. The budget goes straight to Google. We never hold it or add to it. You give us access and can remove it any time.

The ads send people to your own website. If you stop, the site, the account and its history stay with you.

The estimate form, filled in on a phone and sent: name, number, the job and the consent tick.

The arithmetic

Before any budget is set, we work out what a job may cost you in ads. Divide the cost of a lead by the share of leads that become jobs, then compare that with what a job earns you.

Example: leads at $80, and one in four becomes a job, so each job costs $320 in ads. That works on a $4,000 driveway. It does not on a $250 cleanup.

For scale, SearchLight Digital's contractor data put the average Google Ads lead at $104 in January 2026, against $53 for Local Services Ads a month later. SearchLight Digital, 2026

If the numbers do not work, we say so, and stop you spending on ads the arithmetic does not support. The missed-call calculator runs the same sums on the calls you miss.

What we set up to track before the first dollar is spent.
  • ClickThe search they typed and the ad they tapped.
  • LeadYour thank-you page counts every form sent.
  • ReplyA text goes back automatically and asks your questions.
  • BookedThe visit lands on your calendar, or it does not.
  • Won or lostYou mark it, so Google learns which clicks became jobs.

Questions

How much should I spend on Google Ads a month?

It depends on what a lead costs in your area, what a job is worth to you and how much work your crew can take. We set the number with you on the call. You can also give us a hard monthly ceiling that we never cross.

Is Google Ads worth it for contractors?

When a job earns you several times what it costs to win through ads, yes. When it does not, no, and we tell you before you spend. The arithmetic above is the test, with your own numbers.

Do you take a cut of ad spend?

No. Google charges the budget to your card and it never passes through us. What you pay Arcos is quoted on the call, agreed in writing before any work starts, and does not change when your budget does.

Can the ads go to my current website?

If it is good enough to run on, we will say so. A paid click needs a page that works on a phone, with a form and a number to call. If yours falls short, the website comes first.
