Websites and lead follow-up for landscaping companies
Arcos builds and runs your landscaping website and Google profile, and replies to every new inquiry. The site sells the design visit, not the mow. $297 a month.
What we set up for a landscaping company
- Google categoryLandscaper. Add Landscape designer if you draw plans, Lawn care service if you mow, Lawn sprinkler system contractor for irrigation, Drainage service for French drains. Landscape architect only if you hold that license.
- Site pagesOne per kind of job: design and install, sod, mulch and beds, irrigation, drainage, retaining walls and pavers, cleanups, planting. Plus a gallery of your projects.
- Inquiry repliesSpeed matters less here than the questions. The automated reply asks what the project is, where on the property, and when they want it done.
When landscaping leads come in
Design and install jobs get booked from late winter into spring. Fall is the second window: University of Maryland Extension puts the best times to plant trees and shrubs in fall, winter (unfrozen soil) and early spring, not summer (UMD Extension, 2026). So the fall offer goes on the site in late summer.
Local Services Ads for landscapers
Eligible. Landscaping services is on Google's US list (checked September 2026). You pay Google per lead, not per click, once Google has screened the business. We set them up as an add-on.
What homeowners ask a landscaper
- Do you charge to come out and quote?
- Why is your quote higher than my neighbor's?
- Can you take on a yard that has been let go for years?
- Sod or seed?
- Will a French drain fix my wet yard?
Photos that sell a landscaping job
- Finished beds, plants spaced for their full-grown size
- A paver patio, shot from where the owner will sit
- A retaining wall mid-build, with the drainage showing
- The whole front yard, before and after, from the same spot
Questions
Landscaper or Lawn care service: which Google category should I pick?
The one that describes most of your work. Mostly design and install means Landscaper, with Lawn care service added if you also mow. Google wants categories as specific as possible, but representative of your main business.
Should a landscaping website show prices?
Show a starting price where a job has a floor, like mulch or a spring cleanup. Leave design and install to the site visit. Your Google profile can carry a price on each service too.
Do Facebook ads work for landscapers?
Often, because a finished patio sells in one photo. How the ads work.
Can the inquiry form ask for a budget?
We leave it out. Few homeowners know what a patio or a retaining wall costs, so the number they type is a guess your quote then gets judged against. The reply asks when they want it done, which tells you more.
